Carissa D. Long, a resident of Morgantown, is the director of public relations and social media at the Indiana State Bar Association in Indianapolis. Carissa serves as editor of the State Bar's biweekly electronic newsletter, "Addendum." She is a frequent presenter at national bar conferences on the topic of social media. Most recently, Carissa was recognized at the National Association of Bar Executives annual communications workshop, where she received two first-place Luminary Awards for excellence in marketing and social media. She received her B.A. in journalism and political science from Franklin College in 2006. Before joining the ISBA, Carissa was one of only seven selected to Gov. Mitch Daniel’s Fellowship, a yearlong graduate program. Interests include spending time with her husband, Eric, and their two boys, Andrew and Aiden.
